Hello, my name is Sveta Watson, born Russian, but for the past 20 years also happy to call myself an Australian. 

What a journey!

I believe in Fate and Destiny, but with Crossroads. I guess same applies to my photography, there is always a choice.

Intuition plays massive part in making that split second decision between walking by or raising my camera.

Just recently a question popped up – why do I take photos?  It’s deeper then " I just love doing it "– more of a basic instinct as breathing, there also a 'need'. Why and where is it comes from I may never know - philosophy is a tricky thing.

Life always presents itself with good stories – I just love to collect them, sometimes live through, sometimes as a silent observer.

Here is just a few stories, most of them are ongoing.

All been collected since 2006, when I rekindled my childhood passion for Film photography .
